My Favorite Toys began as a “bricks and mortar” store at University Mall in Carbondale, Illinois, the regional shopping hub of southern Illinois.  Samuel and Suzanne Cox, founders, committed to a retail philosophy of “toys with which the kids can play, instead of the toys playing with the kids”  ---- featuring both brand-name and educational, creative toys.  From that philosophy the store grew to also encompass classic and silly toys for Mom, Dad, grandparents, aunts and uncles, cousins, friends, and........well, EVERONE!  We all need the fun that a quality, friendly, toy store offers. 

MyFavToys.com, the company’s online store, is an extension of such fun!

MyFavToys.com  features familiar, brand-name toys as well as educational, classic, silly, and just plain fun items for the entire family!  Many of our items are not available in the “big box” stores.

Our ownership team has a combined 50+ years working with children and adults with disabilities, so we are also constantly on the look-out for educational toys that stimulate development.
